Karen Burke is the owner of Places In Time Farm, a small business that melds three of Karen's great passions:  Alpacas, Fiber Arts and Natural Health.  Karen is an Infant Massage Instructor, holds an Associate's Degree in Massotherapy and is a former L.M.T.  She has been an Herb Specialist since 2000 and was employed as an Herbalist for several years before opening her own business.  Karen uses this holistic background in her facility to foster workshops on topics related to health and wellness and provide quality herbal products for people and animals.

Karen has been an alpaca owner and breeder since 2003 and uses the fleece from her small herd in her Fiber Arts Studio.  After encountering these gentle animals and their luxurious fleece, which the Incas referred to as the "fiber of the gods", Karen knew her life was going to take on a new dimension.  She has immersed herself in the world of Fiber Arts and offers many different classes and workshops on the subject.
